Recipe Notes

[recipe]The amount of each ingredient truly depends on the amount of chicken you will be bbqing. Begin by rinsing your chicken off and placing it in a glass dish and lightly drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Then lightly sprinkle the spices listed above over top of your chicken. Really they are no rules to the order of how the chicken gets seasoned, use the ingredients in which over order works best for you.

To enhance the flavour of the seasoning, cover your dish and place in the fridge for a couple hours. This will allow your chicken to marinate and infuse with all the wonderful flavours. If you do not want to wait, you can bbq straight away and you will still enjoy all the great flavours.

Cook the meat on the bbq or in the oven, however the bbq takes the taste to a whole other level. If you have a meat thermometer, we like to cook the chicken until its internal temperature is 165 Farenhite. This is reported to be a safe temperature so that it does not become dry. Make sure you are checking the thickest part of the meat.

And there you have at, a great summer recipe that can be paired with a delicious kale or romaine salad, or some asparagus with feta and tomato.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy BBQing 🙂
